Clues of termite infestation can sometimes be seen with the naked eye on the surface, but an infrared camera operated in the right manner can usually expose the extent of the damage just below the surface. This is a labour intensive, non destructive search.
During a regular inspection, the inspector may employ an infrared termite damage search of a specific area at his discretion, but a whole house search is not part of a regular home inspection. For an infrared investigation give us a call.
