Allow me to introduce myself, I am Hugh Johnson, a member of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors, I have owned Inspect Key West Inc. for about six years and I have about thirty years experience in the housing and yachting industries.
MY QUALIFICATIONS
I am licensed by the State of Florida, I have taken and passed qualification courses offered through National Association of Certified Home Inspectors and Environmental Solutions Association. I am trained in the use of an infrared camera for buildings and yachts, and have a Level One Ceritfication from Infraspection Institute.
In addition I have successfully completed the My Safe Florida Home, Wind and Hurricane Mitigation Inspector Training Course, at the University of Florida. I have also taken and passed the Chinese Drywall inspection course with, National Association of Certified Home Inspectors. I am licensed with the City of Key West, and have over thirty years experience in the housing and yachting industries.
My inspection/consulting business is a locally owned and operated.
In addition to inspecting buildings and yahts, reporting and consulting, I am qualified to use an infrared camera, collect indoor air quality samples to test for mold & allergens.
I also perform mold surveys and provide remediation guidelines.
I also have a BA in Economics, which comes in handy when taking on complicated jobs.

Reports are easy to understand and often sent to you the same day as the inspection via web address or e-mail. In your report there will also be many digital pictures. (sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words).
Regarding pricing, my prices are competitive and fair. Keep in mind that most services are usually worth what you pay for them, and the cost of a poor inspection/consultation can be immense.
